A bomb threat was called into Nitschke Hall on Friday, March 4 around 11 a.m.

A UT Alert was sent out to have all students evacuate the building after a 911 call to the Toledo Police Department warned of the possible attack.

Twenty minutes after the first alert, UTPD sent another alert that expanded the evacuation to include both the North Engineering building and Palmer hall.

Around 12:15 p.m., UTPD said the building was cleared, allowing all normal activity to resume.

UT Spokesperson Meghan Cunningham stated that UTPD checked all three buildings before giving the ok for classes to resume, but they are still investigating the incident.
